Your First Bitcoin Conference: How Registration Works

If you’ve never been to a conference before, don’t worry.

Registration is your very first stop, and it’s a simple, quick process designed to get you inside and enjoying the event as fast as possible.

What Registration Actually Is: Registration is the required check-in process before entering the conference.

It takes place in person, in the designated Registration area, and operating times are announced closer to the event.

Here’s everything you need to know before you go!

Registration happens on-site, at Registration before you can enter the conference.
Bring your e-pass (QR code), emailed to you ahead of the event.
Your QR code will be scanned, and you’ll receive a cloth wristband, which becomes your official conference pass.
Wristbands must be worn every day, at all times.
Lost wristbands cannot be replaced, but must be RE-PURCHASED.
Pre-registration is usually offered the day before the conference and allows you to pick up credentials (wristband and/or name badge) early.
Final registration times will be shared by email, listed in FAQs, and posted in the official event app.

Signs and staff will guide you from the venue entrance to the Registration.

Ahead of the event, you’ll receive an email containing your e-pass ( a QR code).

This serves as your digital ticket—save it to your phone for quick access.

A team member will scan your e-pass to confirm your name and pass type.

Once scanned and approved, a cloth wristband will be placed on your wrist.

This wristband is your official conference pass and must remain on at all times.

Lost wristbands = lost passes.
They will not be replaced if lost.
If a wristband becomes too tight or needs to be removed, you must bring the original wristband to Ticketing Support to receive a replacement.
Without the removed wristband, a new one will not be issued.

Most of our conferences offer pre-registration the day before the event begins.

Pre-registration is typically on-site, in the same Registration area.
Hours are usually scheduled for late afternoon or early evening.

Arrive early, especially on the first day, to beat the crowds.
Use pre-registration if offered—it saves time and reduces lines.
Check wristband comfort before leaving the Registration Hall; staff can adjust it on the spot.
