How much BTC should I bring with me?

Just enough spending money. Do not bring large amounts. Use a Lightning wallet and top up as needed.

Should I bring my backpack or laptop?

Large bags/luggage not allowed. No bag check. All bags will be checked and may slow entry.

Will there be WiFi at the venue during Bitcoin Amsterdam?

Yes, but using your own private network is recommended for safety.

Can I bring a camera?

Be mindful of others and privacy. If you want more privacy, consider a privacy mask. Professional crew needs a permit.

What time is Pre-Registration and (regular) Registration?

Where is my official pass?

E-pass emailed 24 hours before the conference. Scan at registration to get wristband.

What type of payments are accepted to buy a pass?

iDEAL, Bancontact, Payconiq, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, or PayPal. Also BTC via OpenNode (on-chain or Lightning).

What is a Whale Pass?

All-inclusive VIP experience with Backstage VIP lounge, Whale Night, Whale-only sessions, luxury hotel options, Whale Services liaisons, and more.

Does a Whale Pass include a +1?

Each Whale Pass is valid for one (1) individual entry (including Whale Night).

Who is General Admission (GA) ideal for?

Anyone curious or passionate about Bitcoin. Includes stages, Bitcoin Store, expo hall, and Bitcoin Art Gallery.

Will there be a Student Pass this year?

Yes. Discounted ticket. Upload a valid student ID during application (via Contact page). After verification you receive a code that reduces price to 21 EUR. Bring the same student ID to the conference.

Can I bring children to Bitcoin Amsterdam?

Yes. All ages. Children under 12 attend at no cost. Must be with parent the whole event.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes. Request name change/update, bill statement, or VAT invoice with Paylogic directly from the ticket confirmation email.

I want an invoice for my ticket. How do I get this?

Generate invoices in “My Order” by selecting order details.
